Maine Libraries Week
January 13-19, 2008
Each library in Maine relies on others in the state to provide inter-library loans, assist with reference questions that cannot be answered locally, and provide a network of support and service that benefit all residents of the state. The combined skills and talents of the library staff from all over the state allow us all to draw on resources that lie beyond our own local collection. We are all fortunate to have academic, school, public, and special libraries throughout the state of Maine that are willing to share their collections and services.

The Mark & Emily Turner Memorial library will have refreshments, bookmarks, and a raffle beginning on Sunday, January 13th, to celebrate Maine Libraries Week. Stop by the library and have some refreshments and sign up for the raffle (3 beautiful books are being raffled) and learn more about the services offered by Maine State Library and other libraries throughout the state.
